Adam Kerber aka Dirty Mind Tricks was proudly born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, helping to support the AZ rave scene since 1997. His original roots were in breakbeats until drum and bass hit the scene in 1999, and he has been enthralled ever since.
He took a hiatus for a while to raise two children, fell in love with Neurofunk-style DnB, bought equipment, and practiced the art of DJing during that time until his full return to the scene in 2017. With a push from his late wife Monique and good friends Liz and Jeff Felo, he got his first booking, with the help of Kip Killagan, at a rave at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff and has not looked back.
Since then he has been picked up by Fraktured Phoenix and Rumble Drum and Bass to help grow the broken-beat culture in Arizona. He now also plays regularly for Relentless Beats, appearing at large festivals such as Phoenix Lights and Coconino Campout, and has opened for headliners including Culture Shock, Delta Heavy, and Teddy Killerz.
Dirty Mind Tricks brings very high-intensity energy with that underground Neurofunk drum and bass vibe, playing upwards of 60 tunes in 60 minutes. He also works to balance out his sets with some of that soulful Neurofunk sound.
