Drum and Bass in Phoenix: Events, DJs & the Scene

Phoenix has a real drum and bass scene. Not a night a year when a tour rolls through: local crews, local residents, warehouse rooms and day parties where 170 BPM is the resting heart rate. Here is where DnB actually lives in the Valley and how to plug into it.

DnB at Fraktured Phoenix

We are called Home of the Broken Beat, and drum and bass is half of that promise (breaks is the other half). Every Fraktured lineup carries DnB, and our warehouse events usually give it a dedicated room or run. In July 2026 we co-presented Breaks & Brews, a daytime coffee-and-DnB session that doubled as the soft launch of Rollout DnB AZ, a new collective focused on making more space for drum & bass culture in Phoenix, alongside Upward Trajectory and Word of Mouth Collective. Expect more of that: the DnB side of the Valley is growing and we intend to keep feeding it.

The residents who roll it

If the flyer says Fraktured, someone on it goes deep on DnB. Iron Giant and Pac D bring the heavyweight rollers, XPLCT1 runs island-flavored jungle, Dirty Mind Tricks and Brook B work the full spectrum from liquid to neuro, Pocket Fullof Sunshine keeps it rolling, and Shomeister flies the neurofunk flag. What DnB sounds like (the 60-second version)

Drum and bass runs 170-180 BPM: fast, rolling breakbeats over deep sub bass, descended from UK jungle in the early 90s. It splits into moods — soulful liquid, stripped-back rollers, heavyweight neurofunk, ragga-flavored jungle — and a good DnB room moves through several in a night. Finding DnB nights in Phoenix

Crew lists first: underground DnB nights spread through promo lists and Instagram before they hit any app. Join our list and you will hear about every Fraktured DnB room, plus the collabs.
